Urgent: I94 Problem

Hello Everyone,

Here are the details of the problem:

My wife reentered US today afternoon. She has AP and EAD. At the
immigration in Washington Dulles Airport, the immigration officer
assumed that she was on H4 visa based on the H4 visa stamp on her
passport eventhough it has expired. He did not ask any questions
regarding her visa status. He issued an I94 which says that she is
admitted on H4 visa and is valid until 06/08/01. 06/08/01 is the date
when her H4 visa was issued in Chennai, India. Her H4 visa expired on
Nov'1st 2001.

How do I get this corrected? What should we do about this? Any
comments/help is highly appreciated.

Also, we have a sep RD for our I485 at VSC.
