Do I need to put the I864/864A inside 485 package or is it ok to be separate as in the covering letter?

ARI4U or anyone please respond asap, since I am mailing tomorrow.
 
I864/864A goes with I485. If you put I485 with evidence in a separate envelope, then I would suggest that I864 and I864A go in there. That is how I did it. You can print a list of all the included documents on the cover of the envelope or include a cover letter with the same information.
 
I am using the covering letters from this site. So currently I864/864A is packaged separately with it's own covering letter Do I need to write in the 485 covering letter for I864 and insert 864 dOCUMENTS with in 485 package ?
 
They don't require cover letters or organizing it. Just use good sense, if you can, make it pretty, if not, they're not going to deny you.

Consider that sometimes your file can go thru dumb workers, so i'd recommend organize a bit.

Cover letter if you wish so that serve as a guide in how you put the packet, I-130/evidence...I-485/evidence then the next form/evidence, next form/evidence and all that...is one packet the I-864 is part of the I-485 so should be inside the packet.

It's not complicated :rolleyes: ...and in any case if you put something before one another but if at least is in order with the respective evidence should be no problem.

sorry, i wasnt checking this forum the last couple of days. I guess your questions are already answered :)

I still recommend including cover letters, This way you know you did your best in organizing the contents of the package and explaining special circumstances.
 
Ari4u, that's ok. we had the last minute confusion. Along with the covering letter for I864/864A , I included this package with in I485 since this is part of the required document for 485.

They received it on 06/22. Now we r in the waiting game.

Do they clear all the cheques immediately ?. IF so tht would be a good sign for us..
