Urgent : I485 approved, EAD expiring but ADIT requires wait

Hi Gurus,

Need some clarification/suggestion. My I-485 (EB2) was approved recently
but I will have to wait for 12 more days before I can go for stamping
I-551 (ADIT processing). My local BCIS office requires appointment
through InfoPass and no longer accepts walk-ins. I just booked an
appointment on my return from BCIS office. My EAD is expiring
today and not sure how much I will end up paying for my
carelessness.

1. Is passport stamp required as a work authorization in addition to
I-485 approval. Will I be breaking law or will I be out of
status if I continue to work for next 12 days. So far my
employer has not asked me to take any action.

2. On my last entry I was paroled till Aug,05 and have a valid I-94 so
I should have no problem in stay. Is my understanding correct?

3. Will an expired EAD cause problem during I-551 stamping by BCIS.

4. If I do need to stay at home and probably be on unpaid leave then do
I have any avenue to expedite my case.

Thanks in advance for any information.

--> No, as your 485 is already approved, you are a permanant resident. You can keep working until you get your stamp.

2. On my last entry I was paroled till Aug,05 and have a valid I-94 so

--> Yes, the I-94 you get when entering on AP is meaningless. Your legal stay in US is governed by your pending 485. So don't worry about that I-94.

3. Will an expired EAD cause problem during I-551 stamping by BCIS.

--> No, you are a permanant resident, relax.

4. If I do need to stay at home and probably be on unpaid leave then do
I have any avenue to expedite my case.

--> Keep working, unless you want a vacation. :)

Thanks in advance for any information.
