I am the petitioner and the sponsor to bring my brother, his wife, and daughter to USA. I also have a joint sponsor. Do I have to split up the names to support the immigrants coming to USA?
For example, do I write all 3 names on the part 3? Or do I put like 1 name and then the joint sponsor puts 2 names? Or do I put all 3 names and joint sponsor puts all 3 names too?
Another question I have is: my income with my spouse's income (filled out I-864A already) does not total the Poverty Guidelines. Does that mean I need to enter in information on my assets?
If my income does not total the Poverty Guidelines, but with the help of my joint sponsor, it does exceed the Poverty Guidelines...so do I still need to fill out the assets part?
Also, it said this on page 16 of the I-864: "The total value of all assets, line 29, must equal 5 times (3 times for spouses and children of USCs, or 1 time for orphans to be formally adopted in the U.S.) the difference between the poverty guidelines and the sponsor's household income, line 24c."
^My total asset did not equal 5 times (poverty guidelines-sponsor's income)...So, what should I do?
