URGENT...I-765 pending...need to renew my deriver's license

Hello All, I am in a confused situation. My I-765 is still pending and that is out of the processing time(That's a different big story). In April 2008 my Driver's license is goin to expire, and i need to rush to get it renewed. My school I-20 has the Duration of study as April 1, and i can't use that I-20 for the renewal again.
Right now i don't have anything in my hand to get my license renewed. Some one please suggest any ideas or a way to get my license renewed. I believe there should be a remedy, if any one knows about this please reply ASAP.

Take your I 765 to DL and ask them to renew your license, saying the case is still pending. If they are reluctant get them to call the USCIS for advise

the only option i belief she has it to take her VALID passport to a ussics centre, have them stamp it with a temp, than she can use that and go do a renew. its may now and im been told the machine is down for receipt notices. the only option, is a temp stamped passport. u need to make info appointment for that.
