Urgent I-485 RFE, gurus please help!!!!!

My husband received an approval notice just last week for his I-485. At the same time, an RFE was issued for my I-485 requiring me to prove that I was legally in this country between March 2002 (when I first entered the US from Canada) and Dec 2002, when I next entered after a visit to India. I cannot find a copy of my I-94 card from the March entry but there is a date stamp in my passport which says "admitted Mar 16" but does not have anything written in it indicating the category or duration of stay. I had a valid visa stamp in my passport when I entered. I went to the consulate in India in September2002 and got a fresh Visa stamped, re-entering in Dec 2002.

What can be done in these matters? What alternatives exist? Please help.

You would not have a copy of your I-94 Card because when you travelled to India, you had to submit it on your way out of the country, mostly, to the airline company whom in turn submit to INS. I would think that by submitting a copy of your current I-94 would satisfy the REF needs.
