I am posting on behalf of my friend. His I-485 got denied because his I-140 was cancelled/withdrew after the I-140 was approved. My friend was working in company A which sponsor his GC and when I-140/EAD was approved and he stayed with that company for 6 months as per the portability law and changed to company B. After the I-140 was approved from Company A, i believe they withdrew the Labor or I-140(not sure) and now he got denial notice from INS. I think they had mentioned that we cannot appeal to INS

1. How to go about this situation?? He has the employment letter from current employer and previous employer and as well as all the pay stub from previous employer who sponsored his GC which proves that he was employed with them for more than 6 months after I-140/EAD was approved.
2. If he wanted to reopen the case, his EAD renewal is due coming june. What expedite option he has to make sure that he can renew his EAD when this case is pending??
