We filed I-140 OR on 2003 and got denied becauce of permanent position problem. Now we got a permanent position and we would like to file the I-140 OR again. We don't have time to get new reference letters, so we plan to use the copies of the original ones we used before. Has anyone done something similar? Do we need to tell the INS that they are not originals somewhere?(coverletter?) Any input will be appreciated! We are approching the deadline to file our I-140, so hurry up!!

Submit the Copies

From what I know, you can submit the copies. I do not think they need the originals.

Its best to check this out with a lawyer ( as always !).

As time is short, this may be the best strategy. If USCIS does not like it then they will issue you an RFE ( I doubt it ).

Good Luck !
