i need urgent help.When i hav Filled my N400 on aug 2006 and my D.O is nyc
but last month before i was coming to my country i called the uscis and have them changed my mail address to a friend's house in VA.Now i called uscis and they told me that my Interview is on june 19 in Va.but i dont live in va so i cant proof my adress and 90 days residnce.I want to appear in ny local office for interview so wat should i do
 
Huh, did you ever live in Virginia? What is "my country"? I don't quite understand your situation.

(By the way, in English, the first person singular pronoun is "capital I", not "lower-case i" - something useful to know in the interview.)
 
Yes, it is very confusing. Have you moved out of the U.S.? Where is your current residence, in New York? I will venture this with the confusing information in your post, call USCIS and change the address to whatever your address in NY is and ask them to reschedule the interview, it will take longer time, but I guess this is the best thing to do.
 
I might admit to being similarly confused, but will take a guess that you wanted to change your mailing address rather than your residence address? That being the case, I think you might benefit from taking an Infopass and trying to sort it out in person.

Since your file will not have to go back to NYC, I'd bet its going to take at least 3 months before you get a new interview notice.

If you've been living outside the US since Aug 2006, you may have bigger problems than just proving your residence address. Hope you've been keeping that in mind along the way, especially with regard foreign employment.
