Urgent! Help!!sent 4 forms, only 3 has notice??why??

I sent I-485, 130, 131, 765 four forms to Chicage last month. All four checks have been cashed on the same day.

However, I only received three received notices but there is one missed ---- the one for I-131. How that could be ? :confused: The no# is all other three notice are in a row, does it mean Recd Notice lost in the mail?

Is anyone have the same experience can give me some advice? :(

I file I485, I30, and I765 and only got 2 notices. I think I485 and I30 are together but don't take my word for it. So far my process is really smooth, I filed in May and already got my interview letter for the end of this month.

The notices that I got is one Adjusting Permanent Resident Status and Employment Authorization. In your case may be plus Advance Parole for travel. I hope that helps :)

wow, congratuation! it is really fast to get interview considering file in May.
thnak you for replying me, I was so worried and even went to my appartment community's trash can to look for it. The smell is .....

you say you guess 130 and 485 are together, but the two you got are for 485 and 765. That is little bit odd. Did you have you EAD already?
 
thanks, yeah i got my ead 2-3 weeks after i did my fingerprint & biometric.

Did u got the receipt for I485, I765 and I31 only? the reason I asked is because I only got I485 and I765 notices. I use an immigration lawyer for my case, she didn't say anything about the missing notice so I assumed everything is OK.

Actually I received notice for 485( adjestment xxx),130 (relative one)and 765(EAD) , i did not get the 131( travel/AP) . you may want to ask your lawyer why you miss 130 notice ? As you said that one goes with 485.

How soon you get the Fig Print notice? One of my friend got notice almost three months after she received 765 received notice. btw, we are in Atlanta , ppl said here is quite slow compare the west coast.
 
May be the I31 coming later I'm not sure because I didn't even apply for one. Yes, probably i should ask my lawyer about my I30. :)

My fringerprint notice came really fast, I think it's about 3-4 weeks after the notice and schedule for about 1 1/2 month from the notice date. I heard from people from this forum that you could actually schedule an infopass or walkin for fingerprint that way you don't have to wait too long but I decided to wait.

I am actually from Columbus, OH and yes I heard from people in this forum that Atlanta DO is really slow so you might want to wait. Don't worry too much about it, it'll drive you crazy. :)

As long as you still have prove that your checks was cashed by them, you'll be OK.

That's funny, I just came back from Atlanta last weekend, we are going to move down there when I'm done with my GC process. :)
 
I will say it is wise to get everything done before you move. it is better to keep the your case as straight as you can.

The resaon I am so concern on 131 is that I plan to see my family next March since I have not seen them for four years. I do not want to disppointed them again ,I have promised my parents several times I will go. I hope I do not need to eat my word again. :o

Hi Friends,
My wife and my son left for India for a month vacation on AP. While departing the airlines check in people did not check the AP at all nor did they ask anything about it.
I am very much concerned about whether they need to retain a copy of the AP or not?
Please advise.

I applied for I-485, I-130, AP and EAD in October. I received all 4 notices a few days apart from each. I think you should call USCIS just to make sure that they have received your AP application. You could also note that the application number are in sequence, maybe you can try logging onto the USCIS case status site and checking a number before and after the application number assigned to your I-485, I-130 and EAD. That may tell you if your AP is in the USCIS system or not.
