Urgent help wanted!!!

My wife left the U.S. in January on advance parole. She had planned to come back in late February. Unluckily, for very urgent personal reason, she has been outside of the U.S. till now. Her advance parole expired on Mar. 7.

My questions are
(1) Is it possible for her to apply for an advance parole outside the US?
(2) Can I apply advance parold on behalf her? or She must apply herself?
(3) How to explain the reason to INS?
(4) She is in the adjustment of status. Is it legel for her to apply for visitor visa to reenter the U.S.

I am so frustrated and desperate. Any suggestions, opionions and inputs are highly appreaciated!

fchn, you need to contact your attorney.

What I know: she can apply for AP from outside the US and wait till it gets approved and then reenter on AP.

I am not sure if you can apply on her behalf but the AP application has that language in it, so its worth a try to check with your attorney.

I do not think she can re-enter on visitor visa.

I strongly suggest you contact your attorney.
