urgent help - Traval to mexico

Though it is not a relevent question for this thread, Guys/gals in California thro some light.

I am an Indian national with valid passport. I have valid multiple AP, based on my pending 485. I do not have H1B visa and my I-94 and H1B visa expired longtime back.

Now I need to travel to Mexico (Tijuana) on Monday april 3, by land via San Diago, for a one day bussiness trip (same day return). What is the travel document required for Indian citizens with my situation? Am I requied to get a visa for Mexico?

U will need a visa to mexico, if u don yet have a GC. In ur case even though u are pending Adjustment of status, u will need a mexican Visa to get to mexico. I checked this very recently in San Diego mexican consulate recently for my pusposes

I checked mexican consulate website. It is not that much informative for non-us citizens. Can I able to get the mexico visa at US (San Diego)-Mexico border while entering in car? Or I need to apply visa from my hometown (which is not possible today and I am travelling on monday to Sandiego)?

PErmLC,

It takes a month after u apply for a visa, to actually get ur visa.
This is what I got to know for turist visas. For bsuiness visa I am not sure.
But tread cautiosly.Your compnay should have advsied u about VSia etc.As far as I know, No u cant
get a Visa at port of entry since u r not a GC holder.

Thanks! I think I can not make it. My company do not know abot mexican visa as everyone are us/candian citizens and they dont need visa. They do not know anything about mexican visa. I try to call mexican embassy before I try to go there.

Getting Mexica visa takes 3-5 weeks for Indian PP Holders, after one applies at the Mexican consulate then some kind of approval (permit) needs to come from Mexico.
