Urgent help simple question

My girlfriend is here from Poland on a J1 visa. She also has a DS-2019. Her visa states that she is NOT subject to the two year requirement,

HOWEVER her DS-2019 has the "preliminary" endorsement checked as she IS subject to.

My question is which one is correct. We have applied for an advice opinion, but I wanted to see if anyone knows the answer to this question.

I am from Poland, the same J1 states no 2yr rule, DS states 2yr rule, came 06/2005, married 09/2005, already after interview etc, never been a problem for me noboy brought that subject my attorney told me that Poland - 2yr rule does not apply - basically, she does not have to go home for that period, but I am not attorney so no responsible can be taken.
