Urgent Help! - RFE Issued and Moving Locations

The ND for my case is Sept 18, 2002. An RFE was issued on April 6th, 2004 from VSC

I am in the process of moving from New Hampshire to North Carolina and have some concerns on the timing of my change of address and need some help.

1. My apartment lease in New Hampshire is valid till April end. I have moved into my new apt in North Carolina.
2. My attorneys mentioned about filing AR-11 and notifying BCIS about the change of address within 10 days.
3. Neither me or my attorneys have received the RFE yet.

What is the best way to handle this. Here are the questions I have -

1. Will this change of address cause the application to be re-routed to Texas Service Center cos North Carolina comes under Texas jurisdiction. My attorneys say that would not happen cos allmy company GC applications are with Vermont.
2. Will notifying the change of address now cause any further delays in my GC.
3. Can I just file the AR-11 and not notify BCIS about my change of address and pay rent in both places?
4. How much time does it take after an RFE has been replied to by the attorneys for the approval to come up?

Please advise guys!
Thanks very much

Too many questions..... !!!

Anyways...... just to make the long story short...

Please keep your apartment until you get those notices.(you said you will keep it until end of April as you have the lease). That's good for you.

You'll probably get notices by April 13th. As the apartment office to hold your mail or something if you are not around.

Anyways.. the notices will go to the lawyer not U.

AR-11 is just a formality and BCIS does not updated your profile.

Therefore, once you get those notices then call the 800# to change your address.

NOTE: Your case does not gets transferred until you request. Therefore, i don't think you would want to transfer your case to Texas, as it's even worse than Vermont.

Don't get too excited about the approval there are people sitting from oct/nov/dec 2001 and they have sent their RFE's.

However, i do hope you get your approval soon.
goodluck!
take care

If this is your short story i am wondering how big your long story?

It's funny!!!

Actually, i was trying to make it short..
but i have a bad habit of typing fast and explaining in detail.

You should receive RFE within 5 or 6 days. So you can vacate the NH home by end of April. Don't waste money by keeping it just to avoid change of address. There are people still waiting 6 months after replying their RFE. The whole system is broken at VSC. There are no rules.

Just file AR-11

File AR-11 and call BCIS at the 800 number...

Do not be over cautious by paying rent at 2 places...Does not make sense...

I changed address 3 time durring my 485 process...Changed Jobs... still got approved without RFE...

There is no rule...Just reply to the RFE...U might get approved in a month or maybe not...

Thanks very much

Thanks very much guys! Looks like VSC is atleast moving some distance when compared to other service centers.
