I am joint applicant to my husband for Skilled Worker Category in New Delhi, India

We had medical done in may and sent pasport to Canadian Consulate. We got the Immigration Visa, he lied to me that we have not got it yet and he alone came here leaving me behind. He had all of my documents like Degree Certificates, Marksheets, PASSPORT

My in laws are telling that they don't have the passport (ofcourse they are lying).

I want to know that recourse to get my passport back and report canadian authourity / Indian Authourity about this in detail. Please tell me name of the agency and its phone/web site /Email to be contacted to report this case.

I am very upset that I trusted him blindly, which I will never do.

Sorry to hear about your situation.

I guess one way out is for you to say that your passport is lost and inform the nearest police station - which is true in your case. Get a report from the poilce and apply for a new passport as soon as possible.

In the mean time write a letter to the Canadian consulate in New Delhi informing them that you have lost your passport with the Canadian PR visa. Send the police report with this letter. Tell them that you are trying to get a new passport as soon as possible and request them to re-issue your visa. You will need to give them some details regarding your case like the file number, your passport number etc. If possible you should visit the Canadian Consulate in New Delhi.

As your husband has already landed in Canada you will have no problem landing in Canada.
