in my passport the surname column is empty nand my whole name is written in the given name column....... wen i applied for the visa i was advised by my visa counseller to put FNU in my given name and the rest of the name in the surname column and i did that accordingly......... i hav been issued a b visa for 1 year but on my visa stamp they hav put the last part of my name in the surname column and the rest of the name in the given name column.....

wen i approached the US embassy to enquire abt it they told me that this is the usual procedure that is followed at the US embassy that if u dont hav a surname then they put the last part of ur name in the surname column and i wont be facing any problem at the port of the entry...... but i m really scared......... can it cause trouble at immigration?????? can i be deported??????? plzzzz help...........
