Urgent Help regarding use of AP...

This is my firt posting in this forum.

My RD is 09/22/2002 and i am a september filer(expecting my approval soon). I had applied for AP in August which was approved within couple of weeks. Now i have a valid AP and i am travelling to india next month for 2 weeks. My question is:

1> What happens if my 485 gets approved while i am outside the country? Can i still use my AP to travel back to the US?

2> I have heard that sometime INS issues "Intent to Deny" or RFE, what happens if the INS issues either one of them while i am outside and planning to return on AP, will there be any problem at the secondary inspection?

reply based on bullets:

1> should not be a problem to return if your case is approved while you are out of country.

2> RFE should not pose a problem. but not sure of Intent to deny. (Although I would think Intent to Deny is only an Intent but not a outright denial). If you have an attorney, you might want to check with him.
