Urgent Help or Advice Needed

13-14 years ago I got a false US Passport made. In 2001 I profered and told the state dept everything and for that the state dept decided to not prosecute us and recommended I go ahead and apply for immigration via my wife who is a USC citizen. Yesterday I found out that the immigration guy who was involved in our case has made notes on my file. This is the same guy who had recommended not to put anything on the 485 form and also helped me with special registeration at that time. I have already had my interview and it went fine. They did not approve my case at that time since my file had not transferred to Baltimore since it was still in Atl but the officer told me that I am recommending that you be approved. Original application was filed in Atl. Now I am very very worried. Can my 485 be denied because of this info in my file. My lawyer has a just and wait and see response. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

I think wait and see is all you can do

you may also try calling your local congressman

ask for a caseworker regarding an issue you have with INS.
 
I did talk to the congressman liason. His reply was since I was not prosecuted he doesnt know what INS would consider it. I was asked by the US attorney not to check anything on my 485. So its back to square one. I guess it is a wait and see game. But the wait sure is killing me.

Has anybody ever files a waiver for any kind of document fraud. Again I have not been committed but am just trying to find out what the chances are. My lawyer is saying thats what we may end up doing? Guys/Gals please any info would be greatle appreciated. I just want to know what my chances are.
