Urgent Help on GC

Hi

I work for one consulting company and they have applied for my GC from Illinois in November 2004, i.,e almost 6 months back , Currently i work on assignment with one client based in Massachusetts and they want me to Join as Full time with , Its one of the biggest corporation in US with about 22,000 Employees ,

My only concern is I have my H1 valid till June 2006 and i made one visit to India for about 4-5 weeks, So if i count this, Mine should expire in July 2006,

Now if i join this Client say in the first week of April and they start my GC immediately , Will i be in a good position in terms of applying for GC Labor i.,e 365 Days before and i also need how many days will it take to process and file(Advertisements?) my GC Labor if i start in first week of April,

I appreciate if some could help me out in this that would be really helpful in making my decision to join or not with this client,

:rolleyes: Your question is not clear. However, your new employer can petition for your GC under PERM.
 
Well my question was :- I have my H1 Valid till June 2006 , Now if i join my client in the first week of April , Do i need to worry about my 7th Year extension later, And how many days will it take to collect the papers , ad and process the GC Labor in PERM ? How much different it is compared to Regular processing,

:rolleyes: If your petition for GC is pending for more than a year, you will be permitted 7th year extension. It is not certain how long it would take to get GC under PERM. GC through PERM is very much the same as before except that your employer need to place ads in three other forms in addition to News paper ads.
 
Oh thanks for your information, By the way if i apply my labor in PERM processing and after 2 months it comes back saying that we need some more documents or it gets rejected, Where i will be for my 7th Year extension,
 
If your PERM gets denied then you have cannot get 7th year extension. Talk to your present consulting employer and see what he can do for you.probably he could continue your labor until it gets approved as a backup.
