Urgent....help needed...

Passport expiring in 3 months.
GC approved on 22nd of August.
Do I have to renew the passport before getting it stamped.
I was told that Indian consulate in Chicage takes minimum 3 days to renew the passport if its 10 years old..
Any suggestion /info appreciated...

hi

they will attach your old passport with your new passport when you renew it so you will never loose your PR stamp....call Indian Consulate in Chicago and confirm this....
