Recently I visited India. Before leaving for india, my company had filed for H1 extension, as my H1 visa was expiring on 30 Jan \'02. I came back on 20 Jan \'02. Officer at Port of Entry asked me to go to Local district office to correct I-94 , once I get H1 extension approved.
Does anyone have any experience on this? Which all forms do I need to take? And exactly what do they do? Will they take my actual I-94 and give a new one or just correct the existing one?
