Hi Everyone
One of my friend came to United States as a Visitor Visa and then he applied for Political Asylum. His case is pending till now and now he has 15 days of Visa remaining as a Visitor Visa. He has another 4 years of Multiple Entry Visa remaining. So if he leaves United States within this 15 days.

Will he be allowed to re-enter US another time he comes back?

Is there anything that he should do if he wants to leave now so that his Multiple Entry Visa doesnot get cancelled?

So do you suggest him to leave United States Now and come back after some time or wait for the result of pending case over here. Since there is no guarantee of when the pending case be opened.

Any Suggestion are most welcomed.

Thank You.

Your friend does not have to leave the US,as long as he has a letter from the USCIS saying they have received his asylum application ,he is good to stay, if he leaves before the case is finalised he will not be allowed back into the country. It does not matter that his visitor's status expires in 15 days.Tell him to relax until his case is finalised.
