Kenny04 and bhand11683, Thanks very much for replying my post. I have several more questions for you, please help if you could. Thanks.
1. So I must bring money with me even if I am going to live in Canada for just two days this time. Then can I take the cashier check with me when leaving Canada without depositing it in a Canadian bank? It would be great if I don't need to leave it in Canada since it will probably be another year before I go to Canada again.
2. Also in the future when I go back to Canada, do I need to pay tax for the money I will bring at that time? I think the answer is no, since I never pay tax when I travel to US and bring money with me, but would like to know for sure.
3. Within the next five years, when I travel to Canada and bring the things on "goods to follow" list, can I bring them to Canada in multiple times, or must I bring them in one time? Also can I bring them in any format? I mean, can I bring them with me when I travel to Canada by air or by car, or must I ship them?
4. Also do you know if it is beneficial to open a bank account in Canada? Or it is not necessary since I am not going to stay this time.
5. I am going to apply for a social insurance number this time. Do you have any suggestion on anything else I should try to finish this time?
Many thanks ...
