I am posting this on behalf of one of my friends. His wife has already joined UPenn pending conversion of H4 to F1 at Laguna Niguel.
As part of the documents, he had submitted his bank statement showing enough money to prove that he can support her.
Now, They have received an inquiry from USCIS Laguna Niguel demanding 4 more bank statements AFTER they applied for status change.
He had borrowed most of the money from friends and returned it to them after filing for the status change. His subsequent bank statements do not have sufficient money.
Does anyone here have an idea how to respond to such query? Your help is appreciated.
