Urgent Help Needed ! Change Of Status (is Premium Processing Useful ??)

Hello All,

My H4 to H1 approval has come on Dec 19th 06 but did not have I-94 with it.

Hence asked my employer to send in a Change of status. This was sent to INS on Jan 16th 07.

Can anyone in the forum tell me how long it takes to get the i-94 approval/denial ?

Do you guys suggest me to apply by Premium Processing.

I ve checked with my company lawyer once reg the same subject to file premium processing for my wife, and i believe it is possible to file change of status thru premium processing. But it is better to consult with ur lawyer.
Also make sure they file I-129 for the change of status petition rather than I-539.
