Urgent Help - I-485 approved today(06/01/05), travelling to india on 06/06/05

Please advice if its safe for us to travel to india on 06/06/05. We(me and my wife) have received I-485 approval e-mail today 06/01/05, I have a valid H1 visa till July 14 05 but my wife is coming on end of july and will be entering on Advance Parole. Is our Advance Parole valid ? Is my H1 status valid now ?


I - 485 concurrent filing EB 3
RD - 12/04/03
PD - April 2002
AD - 06/01/05

check carefully

I think the parole is invalid once you have gotten your approval message. Please check with other forum members, your lawyer before going out of the country.
 
I think outrun is correct here. AP is valid only as long as the I485 is yet to be approved but Once the 485 is approved you should be fine as long as you have the approval notice with you. Please check with your attorney and also please let us know wht you found.

Hi ,

Try to postponed your trip for some days (if it is not urgent).. Get your PP stamping and then you are free.. That is always better. Since Ap will not be useful now niether h1 b.

Thx guys for your replies, I did talk to my lawyer she will need some time to respond to my query about H1B visa, most likely I have to postpone my trip. I got only tomorrow to decide. thx again.
 
Take Hard copy of online approval message and goto local INS. Tell them about your trip and show them tickets. You will get stamped without any problem. Some people did like that.

gcnsc is correct. Take copy of approval from the web site and go to local INS. You show them your ticket and explained to them. I am sure that you will be allright.

yeah I think thats the only option I have, I will go tomorrow to local office for my passport stamping lets see how it goes, will update u guys later, thx for all the replies to my query.
