I have few questions regarding H1 transfer. Please help me as far as possible:
My H1 visa is pending with INS for approval. I applied through a consultant to be in status in USA. Now I am expecting another offer and joining date for that company is soon. I need help regarding the following questions:
- Is it possible to apply for H1 transfer when the case is pending (it is a first time/new H1 visa)?
- If yes then what documents are required from my present consulting company?
- Will i need any permission or do i have to inform the present consulting company regarding my H1 transfer?
- If I apply for H1 transfer without informing my consulting company, is there any way that they come know I have applied for H1 transfer (since my case is pending with them) and if yes, what kind of precautions i have to take to avoid such situations?

- If I cannot file for H1 transfer in pending status, then do I have to wait for my H1 approved from this company and then file for H1 transfer? Are there any other options?
- If I apply for a new H1 transfer within a week/10 days of approval, do I need the pay stub/check as a proof of employment?
