Dear Friends,
Background:
6/29 was my last day of employment with Company-X. Currently I don't have a job but I've interview with Company-Y and I know I'll get this job with 99% confidence. I requested X to delay "revoking my H1" as long as possible but they said they can delay by 3-6 weeks with no specific week-limit.
Questions:
Please advise me which option is better. Or is there any safe/wise choice? Earliest responses are highly appreciated.

Questions:
- If Y takes more than 3 wks to give me written offer (assuming I'll pass the interview) and initiates H1 transfer thru' premium processing, am I okay from maintaining "legal status" ?
- If I choose an interim employer to sponsor H1 but if the interim employer doesn't issue pay stubs (ie. didn't find projects), would I have any problem letting Y do the transfer?
Please advise me which option is better. Or is there any safe/wise choice? Earliest responses are highly appreciated.
