My H1 expiration date is July 31, filed extension for 3 years last week, waiting for receipt.
My 140 (NIW) was filed in April and status is pending.
I am going to file 485 but realizing that if I file 485 in July, then my original H1 will expire within 1 month, that is maybe even before USCIS could process my 140.
So the situation could be when USCIS is processing my 140 and 485, that is after the time when my H1B expired.
If I send $1000 more for premium processing, I still need to supply new H1B expiration date for my 140. How?
Is there any way I can get around without paying the USCIS $1000 more?
