Urgent-h1 expiring, moving from non profit h1 to profit h1

I am completing 6 yr on my profit h1 in sep 2012. I got non profit h1 for next 1 year

If I work on non profit h1 from 0ct 2012 to oct 2013 for 1 year, can I get new profit h1 from nov 2013 without staying outside USA for 1 year?

or

even if I work on non profit h1 for 1 year, I will have to still live outside of USA for 1 year to get new h1?
