All,

My parents got 10 Yr multiple entry visa in December first week. When we looked at mother's visa, the given name is listed as "FNU" and surname is listed as <NAME>. I beleive its because in the original passport, Surname is BLANK and Given name is <NAME>. Now we are confused like whether we need to contact consultae regarding the correction of visa?
In what name the ticket should be booked? Does it need to include "FNU" or if the ticket is booked in "<NAME>" is ok?

Please provide your suggestions or feedback. Thanks in advance.

FNU means First Name Unknown

So it looks like there is an error and it needs to be corrected.

Email the consulate and explain the problem. They will tell you what to do.

To book the tkts dont use FNU just the NAME
