Urgent- FBI Clearence question

Hello Everyone,

I am in the process of collecting the fingerprints and sending it to FBI. The local police department says they are not supposed to take finger prints for immigration purposes anymore and i was referred to USCIS to take the finger print.Should i call USCIS and setup an appointment?

Have anybody come across such a situation?

Did you tell them it that it was for Canadian Immigration NOT US? USCIS will not fingerprint you for Canadian Immigration, if your local police won't, find a fingerprinting service through the yellow pages.
