Folks,
Here are a couple of the requirements for applying for an F visa at a canadian consulate:
Proof of sufficient funds to cover all expenses while in U.S.
Proof of ties/residence in country outside the U.S. which have no intentions of abandoning.
My spouse intends to join a graduate program in the US and hence, needs an F1. The problem we have is how do we prove ties to Canada when we have only lived here 6 months? What kind of documents are required for proof of funds. Will my bank statements suffice. Do they require a letter from my employer with the salary info on it? Any idea if she'll face any problems since she lived in the US for 2 years prior to her move to Canada (was always in status). Any input will be greatly appreciated.
