URGENT: EAD renewal with I485 RFE

Hi Everyone,

I am planning to send my EAD renewal application soon, will it be put on hold and/or generate an RFE for my EAD renewal appln? since my lawyer hasn't responded to the RFE on my I-485 yet? lawyer is planning to respond I-485 RFE by 2nd week of Oct, the deadline for I-485 RFE response is Oct 31.

No, your EAD application is independent of your I-485 status.
