Urgent EAD Question

Hi Gurus,

My First EAD is expiring on 7/11/03 and Second EAD ND is
4/23/03, i hardly have 13 more days...i have talk to customer
service and they are saying it is taking 90 days for approval...

My Question:
1. What are the options i have got,If i want to continue
working (FYI - I work at client place thru a consulting firm)
2. Can i work at client place and get a personal
check from my employer i.e without being on payroll
3. Since i have already applied for EAD, can i continue to
work (Just like H1B - You can work with new employer
right after getting the new H1B receipt)

If EAD expires that means you are not leagal to work, until you get your EAD card. EAD recept doent work.
If you are not using EAD in current job, and you got job with H1. You can still work on H1 regradless of EAD status. That means If you are working to the same employer who filed H1 and EAD and if your H1 is valid, then you can go ahead and work as usual.
