Urgent..E File I-765 (EAD) problem..!!!

Hello Friends
My friend used E File I-765(EAD) application in Jan 2004.
He said his EAD expires in mid of May.

While applying his Name & Family names are exchanged and immediately he called
and notified BCIS. They said he will receive a notice around 30 days after the correction .
Is it true?

He received his Receipt Notice with exchanged names and did photo and fingerprinting at local center.

Then he sent all supporting document to BCIS with a note mentioning about his Name correction.

So the question is
1)Does this create any problem? Does he receive EAD with out delay?
2) Can he apply E file I-756 once again? Does Double application creates any problem?

Experts please comments on this.
How he can solve this problem..?

It does not make sense to apply for one more EAD. The way is to call customer service and tell the problem (which he already did) or to wait till RFE is issued or till card is received. He has time on huis side and i guess everything goes well. In the worst case, he will receive EAD with first name and last name interchanged and i don't see a big problem in that because who is going to see our EAD cards ? Even if you cahnge job using EAD, you can explain the error to the new employer (if at all they notice the interchange )
