URGENT!! drop off 140/485 application in person??

can anyone tell me if I could drop off the application in person.

I have my LC done yesterday. I am trying to get 140, 485 prepared today. It doesnt look like I could fedex it tonight before 7pm. I was wondering if I could drop it off in person or have local fedex guy deliever it while I fly down to dallas, tx.

any gurus?

sorry for duplicate thread..I really need to know it ASAP.
 
if you can't do it tonight, why not tomorrow?
delivery by yourself or by fedex makes no difference to me at all. Besides I don't think CIS can accept the packages delivered by yourself.

i spoke to my lawyer about the same situation and I as told that one can not deliver it personally because of security reasons. So either overnight fedex or fedex using same day service.

fedex same day service or drive to airport by midnight.

My lawyer didnt think it could be done in person. I still didnt understand the logic. I was thinking more on the lines of flying to dallas myself and have local courier/fedex deliver it tomorrow before 5 pm.

However, I did manage to do it before 830 pm. Around here in Atlanta, GA, Fedex at the airport accepts packages no later than 1015 pm.

what is this same day delivery thing? just for my knowledge..

does it have to be local? or its to anywhere in the US? pls let me know when you can..its not urgent.

You are welcome! Congratulations on your last minute filing. Yes it's worth the trip to fly there if they accept your package, but I don't think local courier will deliver it for you because of security concern especially after 9/11.

you cannot drop it off personally. Fedex has a critical service department where they deliver in a few hours.

Your account needs to be qualified to use this service. If you havent been qualified yet it takes 3-4 weeks for security reasons. Its more for business users...you need to plan ahead if you intend to use it.
