URGENT: Does finger print for EAD mess up the chances of I-485 approval?

My I-485 PD is current and RFE for med/EVL was responded long back and i could see some changes in LUD. I was applied for my 3rd EAD and USCIS had sent a notice for finger print for EAD. Then, i went and given the finger print for EAD and EAD was approved and got the card. I have made an enquiry for my I-485 case and response to enquiry is

"The applicant was scheduled for fingerprint processing with the USCIS ...Once the Service receives the update that
the finger print processing is complete and good to go, we will move
forward on the case."

The finger print notice was meant for EAD and not for the I-485. Even though my EAD was approved and mailed, Why does USCIS wait for finger print result for I-485? Does it mean USCIS got confused with EAD finger print with I-485 finger print? What shall i do? Please advise..
