Hi

Our flight is tomorrow, but the AP is still in processing....
Our attorney can fedex us the AP in our home country when it arrives.
Only problem is: Can we leave BEFORE having AP approved?
Theorically we knows the answer, but did you hear about anyone who left before?
If yes, did he keep the white paper stappled in his passport?

You are not suppose to leave the country with AP. That will mean you are abondening your application. On your way back Immigration officer will find out with date u left US and when ur AP was approved. Hope your attorney didnot give u this advice cause if he did then you should change your lawyer.

Who gave me this advice...

In fact... nobody!

But an INS officer told me on the phone "Unofficially, you could you like a lot of other people and travel before receiving it, if someone can send it to you in your home country, but this is really unofficially".

So we tried to postpone our flight, and we can push it during next week.
Since nothing changed this week and we called every day, why would they change?
After that, no matter we do not have Christmas with our relatives, we are going to loose those tickets...
It is a shame.

The Notice date is the 1st of October, and this is supposed to take between 30 and 60 days...

I am going to make a general mail about that.
