I have an urgent query for you.. I had applied for 485 in Oct 2001. The case was transferred to Detroit Office in Feb 2005 after a response to RFE. I had been following up with detroit office for months now and suddenly my lawyer called yesterday and told me that my interview was scheduled last week.. and Neither me nor she had got the interview notice..
I want to find out what options are for me.. I have not yet got anything from Detroit office concerning interview or denial. My lawyer says we need to file MTR(Motion to reopen). I was wondering if there was any alternative since its hardly a week since i missed interview. Can I just walk in with info pass and request a new date for interview ?
I am so much tense as to what will happen.. I have been waiting for almost 3 years in 485 and all my peers have long been approved causing me frustration!..
I would truly appreciate a quick response to my posting !..
