*URGENT* change in H4 petition please help !!!

Hello,

I got an appointment for my wife's H4 visa at the Mumbai consulate in Feb. Yes nowadays you do not need a marriage certificate to get an appointment.

When we got the appointment I was working in company A so the petition information I gave was for company A. Now I am working for company B, so I have a new approval notice. Now does anyone know what happens to my wife H4 petition? It still has the information from my old petition.

Take a new appointment. If you have switched your company then her H4 application information wont be valid either.

after posting here, I checked out their site. I was able to retrieve her documents and I am also allowed to change it. According to the new rules, documents have to reach just 5 days before the appointment, so my guess its ok to change it untill you actually change it, just a guess. Anyways I have emailed VFS with the same question, and I will also post their reply.
