I have a friend who is currently in a situation where her boss wants her to work for 40hrs and pay her according to the hours she works. Her paper work is filled as part time H1B with 30hrs a week. And her lawyer being irresponsible only tells why she is making so much request!!! Wat an a**!!!
Does she need to file anything in particular to work 40hrs a week for her employer? the same one who filed her H1-B???
from my understanding is that you can work more as your employer demands and pay accordingly, it becomes illegal when they make their workers work more and subpay them for hours worked. <--abusive act
