I have received my biometrics appointment letter just today for some reason, even though the letter was sent more than a week ago. The appointment is scheduled for tomorrow and i'm not going to make it to the biometrics center tomorrow.
I called USCIS and they said that i should follow the instructions in the letter. The instructions say that I need to mail it back and check the box saying "reschedule the appointment". Obviously the letter wont reach USCIS on time. There is no way to reschedule over the phone or by fax, according to the customer serice rep i've just spoken to.
If i send the letter asap and it reaches USCIS after the appoitment date, will my case be abandoned or will they still reschedule? Is there anything else i can do to make sure the case is not abandoned
