Urgent--Base Salary is 5% less than described in Labor . Is that a problem??

Gurus,
My base salary is 5% less than what is in Labor and I 140 but with my bonus total figure is well above the salary mentioned in Labor cert. My interview is in March.My immigration dept. tells me at last moment that this could be problem. Do you think this could be a problem?? Please help

The total salary figure is what they usually look for at CP. You will be OK. Good luck!

As long the employer signs and gets it notarized with the figure on LC then U are fine, don\'t worry I went thru this and I got a hike

I had the same thing

Do not worry at all - my salary was 10% less than my LCA salary. My attorney said if it is 20% or more, then there is a problem. I got my GC on Jan 17th - no question asked.

js123 Don\'t worry as long as the letter which states that U make as much as LC is fine the company HR will sign on behalf of the company and will get it notarized. Good luck and don\'t worry

Thanks a lot guys. Your relply is a big relief to me. My HR agreed to give me notarized letter says total comp for 2002 instead of just base salary which is more than my LC figure. Thanks again

In I-134 (Affidavit of Support) in the coloumn stating salary drawn - what salary did you fill in - the salary you were drawing (which I presume was slightly lesser than that mentioned in the employment letter) or the salary stated by the company in the employement letter.

My salary is 13% less than amount mentioned in Labor. My I140 was approved recently and I am thinking of cp processing.Is it a problem, if my employer didn\'t give the letter with right amount(mentioned in LP)??
