Urgent - AP question

Hi

My AP is approved on Sep 26th. I need to go abroad tomorrow even though I don't have AP approval document in my hand. The thing is I'll go out and my husband will send it to me later.

But my lawyer said they do not rely on the compuster system (case status check) of BCIS, and they have had many cases that the clients never get the approval document. So they suggest me to go abroad when I get the document in my hand.

My question is

1) Can I go abroad without the document in my hand? (I have F-1 visa)

2) If my AP is not approved in fact even though the computer shows that is is approved, my application for I485 can be cancelled when I leave USA?

3) My departure is informed to BCIS? I mean AP approval is important for departure or re-entry or both of them?

I already bought airplane ticket, and my laywer insists this trip is risky, but I really need to go home due to family emergency. Please help me!! :(

wait if u can

ur lawyer is right wait if u can

else if u have somone trusted who can mail you the approval then that would be great.

however, i heard some airlines take a copy of ur approval on the entry door

One more..

Thank you for your reply.

BTW, I have a valid F-1 visa, but will the airplines ask the AP copies too?

no

if u have a valid visa with no expiry of I-94 then u r fine. no need to mention about AP.

You have F1 till when???? Did u ever use AP to enter US?

till 2006

my visa is till 2006. And I have never used AP for re-entry.

BTW, if my AP is not approved in fact (if the approval is an error for the BCIS computer system), my I485 application can be cancelled when I leave USA?
