Urgent AP Issue - help

We applied for AP for our son on Feb 10th and got an RFe for recent photo and the RFE was replied and received by VSC on May 5th.AP is still not approved ,online message says that "It would take 150 to 180 days ,Since the preliminary processing is complete in your case it may not take as mentioned above..."
We have planned to travel on july 21st.

I talked to couple of customer service persons and they advised me to send and expedite request and i had faxed my request also.

Do anyone of you had an experiance like me and got approval thru expedite request. Appreciate your replies
 
Hello,

I need to expedite my process. We need to visit our grand father who is not doing well. I also got an RFE regarding photos for my wife AP. Did you get your AP expedited? Please advice.
