I have a "self-petitioned" EB2-NIW pending with Advance Parol approved. My H1-B stamp has expired but I have approval notice for H1-B Extension. I am in urgent need to travel abroad (to India).
Question: Can I travel on advanced parol I obtained from my self-petitioned NIW case while working on H1-B and have an expired H1-B stamp? Usally on port of entry, immigration officers ask about the company you work for and the valid approval to enter the country based on your job. Can I say, I work for company X but my H1-B stamp is expired while I have a valid Advance Parol from self-petitioned NIW??? Please advice how to handle this situation..
