Urgent - AOS Fee filing question

I am a US citizen who applied for my parents GC. I-130 was approved and then I got the AOS Fee bill of $70 each for both my parents. But the form listed the exception that in case of US citizen filing for seperate I-864 for both parents need to send one money order of $70 and attach the AOS fee bill payment stub together in one envelope and I did that.
Now yesterday I got the instruction packet to file I-864 for only my mother and not my father.
Do I need to send a seperate fees of $70 for him too??

You need to pay only one $70 fee which will take care of I864 review fee for both parents, just like what you did. I am assuming that you sent both the payment stubs with that.

It may be just timing/mail delivery issue. You will receive other packet in a day or two. In my case, I received most of the stuff from NVC in two packets for both the parents on the same day except DS 230 form, for which the two packets were received on consecutive days.
