Urgent! Advice needed! Received Bio but no RFI

Hi, I received the Bio notice today, but I believe I should receive the RFI letters first the Bio letter. Am I right about this? (RFI yellow letters)

The INS sent my loads of email on 07/22 telling me they mailed a notice requesting more infoformation. and then on 07/26 my case was looked at again by INS but the message remained the same. My Bio letter has a notice date of 7/26.

I suspect that my RFI letters was sent out before the Bio letter but it got lost in the mail.

I live in NYC brooknlyn, can someone give me some advice about my situation?

If I have to call INS about the lost letters, how long will it take for them to send me the new letters? The case address is a mailbox that is located outside of my house so someone may take what is not theirs. Is it wise to change my case address to a P.S. Box I rented at this late stage?

Thanks a lot for your advices.

Here is my suggestion to you:

Go ahead to complete your biometrics fingerprint;

Call National Service Center requesting for another RFI notice since your concern of 1st RFI lost during mailing;

Remember: Don't change to a P.O.BOX since CIS doesn't accept such address for processing case.

i really hate the way that CIS send those very important mails(for us) by regular mailing method... i think just one mail we do not receive from them may result the case denied which we been waitting for more than 5 years.

Then Can I change the address to another residential address that is also mine but a lot safer.

A friend of mine had his RFI lost and was in panic. after he called and another RfI is sent, he got his biometrics request in days. I think your case is like that. you should call and tell them. good luck

Jason i live in NYC Queens--i had pretty much same problem like yours --they send me RFI on June 24th but i didn't recived that so i called NSC and talk to cus.rep. he told me my Mail was sent back (I don't think they sent me RFI i think the NSC mailing department massup most of the East cost RFI that time. Not only me couple of other folks this forum had same problem like mine and yours. They also call NSC to get the RFI) to NSC so he chaked my Address and then send me a RFI again. And i got that withen a Week.
So u can call them and ask about RFI.
And changing Address right now it's not really very good Idea.--That just my opinion.---Also u can talk to your Local post office and let them know if u miss any Mail.
Good luck

Call National Service Center and make sure a change of your address will be updated through whole CIS computerized system simultaneously or with shortest time period at least, particulary that of Nebraska Service Center. Clarify this with customer representative at National Service Center for confirmation.

Good luck

look dude. Just imagine everyone had the same thread title: "Urgent!"
Can you next time specify what your posting is about? Thanks.

Thank you guys a lot for your helpful advices, I think I'm going to call them sometime in the next week. I just want to make sure if the mail is really lost or not. I mean I really haven't had a lost mail experience.

Dial the number and then press 1, 2,2,2 to wait in line for a CSR. You dont have to listen to all the BS. As soon as the guy says Hello..Press 1, 2,2,2
