Urgent advice needed

Hi all
My grandmother has a greencard.
She wants to apply for Re-entry permit and she is leaving to india on this friday 2 april 2004.

She wud like to apply the re-entry permit before she leaves USA

What reason should we indicate for applying for re-entry permit. (My grandfather is in india and he doesn't have greencard)

Please input some of your valuable suggestions
I also need the cover letter stating the reason for applying re-entry permit. (I need a format of this letter)

the following link might help you.... btw thats the quickest thing I get.... and if u are familar with Google search engine.... just go ahead and type 'Re-entry permit Green Card' and search... there is a lot of link ..need research... and time...

I und that re-entry permit needed if u GC holder stays more than 1 year. so if ur grandfather is there.... u may have good reason... just need some afitdavite and application from ur Grand Father that he is very alone/sick and need someone to take care of him
